Accounting Department Holds Public Lecture Capital Market Based Accounting Research
Accounting Department of the Faculty of Economics, Bung Hatta University held a Public Lecture on the topic of Capital Market Based Accounting Research which took place in the Hall of the Hall of Caraka Building B Campus of the Bung Hatta University Proclaimer I, Monday (07/09/2015).
This public lecture presented speakers from Universiti Utara Malaysia namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurwati Ashikkin Ahmad Zaluki, moderated by Dr. Zaitul, SE, MBA. Akt. CA.
In his presentation, Nurwati Ashikkin Ahmad Zaluki explained several research results that have been done in the field of capital market based accounting research which is a research activity that tries to see the relationship or the effect of information on financial statements / annual reports as variables on information in capital markets such as stock prices and other things.
"Later researchers can see some information content and its influence with the capital market on financial standards. In addition, for students to be reproduced to read good articles to be able to find the hottest topics in finding material for research studies, "he added.
Meanwhile, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Bung Hatta University Dr. Erni F. Harahap, SE, M.Si when giving her opening remarks delivered this public lecture routinely conducted at the Faculty of Economics both the organizer of the faculty and department level.
"With this public lecture the students and lecturers can add to the latest understanding and knowledge of the topics presented by the speakers," he hoped.
This public lecture was attended by more than 200 participants from 5th and 10th semester students and lecturers from the Bung Hatta University Accounting Department.
